What it is

General reference — not yet source-verified

The Speedline Momentum Elite is a screen printer used in surface-mount technology assembly for depositing solder paste onto printed circuit boards.

How it works

General reference — not yet source-verified

In a screen printer, solder paste is forced through a stencil onto the board pads using a squeegee. The board is held in place and the stencil is aligned to the board using vision. After printing, the stencil is separated from the board, and the paste remains on the pads.

Applications

General reference — not yet source-verified

Screen printers of this class are used for assembling printed circuit boards in industries such as consumer electronics, automotive, telecommunications, and medical devices.
